Susie G. Gibson Science and Technology Center is a career and technical school which serves students enrolled in each of the three county high schools. The school's mission is to prepare students for the challenges of a global society by providing a quality education in a career/ technical field. Our students acquire the skills, knowledge, and work habits needed for success in the workplace. We strive to provide "Real Learning for the Real World".

letter, (Access Letter Here), on the Susie G Gibson Science and Technology Center website explaining our plans for providing students learning opportunities that will give them access to remaining course content. We will continue to communicate through email in the future as new information becomes available through this ever-changing situation. Bedford County Public Schools still remains closed to the public, but essential appointments for registration can be made by calling your child's school between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.

The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) has developed a parent resource on how to talk about COVID-19 with your child. The CDC provides daily updates and health-related guidance in regards to COVID-19 if further information is needed for your family.

  • Congratulations!!! BSTC sends a congratulations and a big shout out to three students who competed at the National SkillsUSA Competition in Louisville, Ky. June 24 - 29, 2019.

Jacob Stage won 1st Place in the Carpentry contest.
Tyler Palmer won 2nd Place in the Building Maintenance contest (post-secondary division).
Devon Smith placed 8th in Building Maintenance contest (secondary division).
