Requirements:
- A completed registration form, three teacher references, a signed sworn disclosure, and an interview with Mrs. Wendland.
- Students considering this course must be on track for a standard or advanced studies diploma.
- Discipline referrals that would raise concern for working with children or criminal convictions could eliminate a student from consideration for the program.
- A fondness for children, consistent attendance, and a commitment to professionalism must be reflected in students applying for this program.
- A student’s ability to complete the role of a teacher in the BSTC preschool will be reviewed during an interview process.
- Payment for the Early Childhood Education course is paid at the student’s base school. Please contact the guidance office regarding the $175 (approximate) fee.
